What we do not promise
Whether styled characters display correctly, are accepted by a platform, or survive being saved depends on the reader’s device, their font set, the app they use and that platform’s own rules. None of those are under our control, and nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee that a particular style will work in a particular place.
Compatibility guidance here is a reasoned judgement based on how Unicode and current systems behave. It is offered in good faith and may be wrong for your specific case. Test before you rely on it.
Acceptable use
Please do not use these tools to impersonate a person or organisation, to evade moderation or safety systems, or to construct text designed to mislead about its own content — for example using bidirectional controls or invisible characters to hide what a message says.
