About this tool

This tool is deliberately conservative. It reverses the documented compatibility mappings for mathematical alphabets, fullwidth forms, circled and squared letters, superscripts and subscripts, and it strips combining marks. It does not blanket-apply full compatibility normalisation, because that also rewrites ligatures, spacing and some CJK forms you probably wanted to keep.
